The FIRST organization aims to foster skills in engineering, math, and science while also promoting themes of cooperation, professionalism, and leadership.
The organization has provided opportunities for children of all ages all over the world. There are over 400,000 students enrolled in FIRST programs!
In addition to teaching valuable life skills, students also get to cooperate with mentors from major STEM companies and workplaces such as Boeing, Microsoft, F5, Electroimpact, and NASA.
In 2014, FIRST gave away over $19 million in scholarships. Scholarships are available to students who have participated in FIRST for at least 2 years. Click here for scholarship information.
